Christmas Sculpting Workshop

We’ll gather in a small group to sculpt a Christmas ornament from air-dry clay, paint it, and ease into the magic of the season.

During the workshop you will:

— learn the basics of composition in sculptural form
— build a simple armature for your ornament
— create your own unique Christmas piece for 2026
— enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere
— feel that Christmas is truly on its way

You’ll leave not only with a beautiful handmade ornament to hang on your tree or gift to someone special, but also with the feeling of a calm,

festive evening — when your hands are busy creating, and your mind can finally rest.

Materials included

Group sessions designed for beginners and enthusiasts who wish to explore

the art of sculpture in an inspiring and relaxed environment. 

Programs include:

– Schiacciato — a low-relief technique rooted in the Florentine tradition.
– Medal making — portrait sculpting

Within the group setting, participants may also choose their own focus — from a more academic approach to a creative, experimental process.

Each session is guided with individual attention, allowing everyone to progress at their own rhythm while enjoying the shared studio atmosphere.

Drawing and painting classes

Materials included

Every Sunday we explore Florence through drawing and painting — capturing the city, its light, and quiet corners.

We practice urban sketching with markers, and create oil and watercolor studies outdoors.

On free museum days, we move our sessions inside —

sketching sculptures, visitors, and the play of light between the halls.

In case of rain, we switch to sketching in public spaces and local cafés,

keeping the spirit of observation alive wherever we go.
